Ventilated Facade

The ventilated façades, as known today, are not new in construction. The peoples of the North used them for centuries, where they carried out wooden openings with open rims.

At the beginning of the forties, of the last century, as the North American construction systems were explored, a dozen years later, the first versions of ventilated façades began. Over the next decade, it has been very vivid in the field of ventilated façades. The names like "open rain screen" and "rain screen" system got in the use. However, the majority of Western European countries adopted the term and performance of "ventilated façade systems" first in the seventies.
